Job Description

Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned Hospital seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a focus on Anaesthesia. This position plays a key role in supporting imaging and surgical procedures within a highly specialised clinical department.

Rota Details
The role is full time at 40 hours per week, worked across a 5-week rota pattern of 4 x 10-hour shifts. The RVN will also participate in the wider nursing rota, including weekend, bank holiday and OOH cover.

Information About the Practice
This is a specialist-led referral hospital with a large multidisciplinary team, including specialists, residents, interns, Senior RVNs, RVNs and VCAs. The hospital provides advanced clinical services across multiple disciplines, supported by dedicated nursing instructors and clinical leads.

Description of the Role
The successful candidate will work specifically within the Anaesthesia service, supporting patients undergoing procedures requiring sedation or anaesthesia. The role involves using advanced nursing skills, assisting with time-critical decision-making, and ensuring the highest standard of patient care. The RVN will work closely with the Clinical Nursing Instructor in Anaesthesia and Senior Clinicians, contributing to the safe and effective management of all anaesthesia cases across the hospital.
