Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a corporately owned practice located in Blackburn and is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a purpose-driven practice committed to delivering accessible and affordable veterinary care to all pet owners, regardless of financial background.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time role over a four-day working week, totalling 40 hours. The shifts fall between 08:00 and 19:00, with only 1 in 9 Saturdays required, compensated with time off in lieu. Part-time applicants will also be considered.

Role Description
This position is ideal for a nurse looking to utilise their full range of skills within a varied and stimulating caseload. The practice sees a high number of surgical and orthopaedic procedures, offering plenty of scope for development. You will be directly involved in anaesthesia, inpatient care, and supporting the theatre team in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment. Practice Details
The practice is equipped with three theatres, including a dedicated dental suite with dental x-ray, and seven spacious consulting rooms. Located beside Rovers FC, this site handles a diverse caseload and is particularly well known for its volume of surgical and orthopaedic work. The practice belongs to a Community Interest Company (CIC), prioritising affordable and high-quality care over profit, and actively works to reduce barriers to treatment for pet owners.
