Job Description

About The Role
Our client is looking for an RVN to join their fast-growing independent practice.

The Group
They are a growing small animal practice with 2 state-of-the-art hospitals and 4 busy branch clinics.

The Team
As a team, they are expanding and are looking for a passionate, experienced RVN to join their family. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to use all their nursing skills and experience in a positive surgical and medical environment, looking after a variety of patients and dealing with emergencies.

Company Ethos
Their vision is to create an encouraging and positive culture where their nurses are empowered and inspired to reconnect with their passion. Here we’re all equal and every voice is heard.

They are proud of the experience and expertise within their team; many of their vets and nurses hold additional qualifications and have years of experience. They believe in nurturing the talent within their team and provide a comprehensive induction process, regular internal CPD and a generous CPD allowance with certificate funding available.

The Rota
Their nurses generally work a 4-day week with an hour lunch break. They have dedicated twilight and night teams, so there is no out-of-hours requirement except that their day team act as a “last resort” backup for the night on an on-call rota. Everyone contributes to the weekend rota, where you will provide in-patient care at one of their hospitals and help with emergencies supported by a 2nd RVN, an SVN an ANA and a receptionist as well as the two Vets. You’ll have 2 days off instead of the weekend worked.
