Job Description

About The Role
Our client is looking for an RVN to join their charity organisation to treat their patients.

Company Ethos
Their approach is unique as they combine pragmatism with a strong client care focus to deliver good clinical outcomes – they focus on measuring their impact rather than targets.

The Team
The veterinary teams usually have quite varied clinical interests which means you have access to a wide pool of knowledge and experience with which to discuss cases and treatment plans. The size of their teams allows for a flexible approach to weekend rotas and any out-of-hours required, with enhanced pay and stand-down time in the week when a weekend is worked.

Equipment
The Hospitals are modern and well-equipped and generally include separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment.

Work-Life Balance
The work is fast-paced and challenging so they want you to have the work-life balance that suits your needs as well as enabling them to deliver an outstanding service. Ask them about flexible options!

Ideal Candidate
They are looking for qualified vet nurses who are up for a challenge and can adapt to the wide variety of cases seen. Confidence in communicating with a wide range of colleagues and clients is essential as is a willingness to share your skills and lead by example. Specifically, you will be involved in consultations, in-patient care, dispensing medications and assisting in theatre including schedule 3 surgery.
