Job Description

About The Role
Our client is looking for an RVN to join their independent surgery with their team of passionate veterinarians.

About The Group
The independent group of practices have provided care to their local animals since 1950. The practices have recently undergone a refurbishment with state-of-the-art, fully equipped operating theatres to ensure that they are delivering the best possible care to their patients.

About The Practice
They are a training practice for nurses to maintain the highest possible standards for their pets, as they value their nurses they know that they are at the heart of the practice.

Facilities/Equipment
They have a range of high-quality equipment including; Digital X-ray, ultrasound, on-site lab, multiparameter monitor, isolation unit and separate cat & and dog wards.

Duties
Duties are based on a rota system consisting of both medical and surgical patients, pre and post-op, assisting vets in both prep and theatre, stock control, pharmacy and in-house lab work. They offer a wide range of services for our clients and their pets.

The Rota
The role is based on a 37 ½ hour week, on a weekly rotating rota. Earliest start 8 am, latest finish 8 pm. No out-of-hours and No on-call. 1 in 4 weeks weekend.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate would be a clinical coach or working towards this role as we are a training practice for student nurses.
