Job Description

About The Role
Tempus Recruitment are working with a practice based in Fareham who are looking for an RVN to join their team.

The practice is built to industry-leading standards and includes standard and dental digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, four consulting rooms, individual cat and dog wards, an isolation room and an onsite operating theatre.

As part of your role, you will carry out diverse duties including admissions and discharges, monitoring ops, inpatient care, delivering clinics, consulting, measuring blood pressure, blood sampling, supporting vets, and pharmacy work. Clinical coaching training will be provided to support regular student placements.

The Rota
The position is based on an average 40-hour week with a 1 in 4 weekend shift pattern.

The Team
The team consists of 4 veterinary surgeons with varying levels of experience who are supported by seven registered veterinary nurses, two student veterinary nurses, two veterinary care assistant, seven receptionists, and their practice manager.

Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of practice experience. They will have excellent customer service care, communication and interpersonal skills. As well as this they will work well under pressure, solve problems and work independently whilst being self-motivated and hardworking.
