Job Description

About The Role
Our client is looking for an RVN to join their surgery-focused clinic.

About The Hospital
At the clinic they focus on surgery (including laparoscopic surgery, TTAs/TPLOs, fracture repairs) and dentistry. No day is ever the same.

The Team
As an RVN on their day team, you would be working alongside and experienced team of 3-4 Vets, 6 nurses and support staff; one of the Vets on the team has a surgical certificate and they do also have a certificate holder in dentistry.

Career Development/Training
They love to support individual interests and can offer great in-house training opportunities, making the perfect environment to grow your skills.

They offer a great caseload, particularly in surgery, dentistry, and anaesthesia, and nurse consults are also a real focus! You will though get to participate in all areas of nursing. They are also a nurse training practice and would welcome an additional clinical coach on the team though this is not essential.

They are well equipped with everything you would expect, including multiparameter, digital x-ray, laparoscopic equipment, orthopaedic equipment, dental x-ray and a full dental suite. There is a separate cat and dog ward, and they are proud to have silver cat-friendly status. They also have on-site parking available for the team.

The Rota
Typical hours are 42 per week over 5 weekdays (4 weekdays could be discussed) and participation in the 1 in 6 weekend rota. Nurses are also on the EIN rota which is paid extra. There are no nights or inpatient checks with this role. 1 bank holiday per year which is paid extra and with a day back in lieu.
