Job Description

This first opinion practice is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their team of wonderful people. This position is for an experienced vet, confident in all routine surgery and consults of the day to day of a Small Animal practice. This position has some sole charge, and is for a full-time vet, but if you’re looking for a part-time role or even for flexible hours they can accommodate. They want to help you achieve your goals and the work-life balance you deserve.

This practice is proud to be a Cat Friendly Clinic, with a silver ISFM status; equipped with a digital X-ray, a dental X-ray machine to help raise the standard of dental treatments, an ultrasound machine and an inhouse lab. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside an exceptional team: 1 full-time experienced vet and 2 part-time vets, supported by a team of 3 full-time RVNs, 1 Animal Care Assistant, 2 full-time and 1 part-time CCAs, and a practice manager. Our Practice Manager Andy operates a ‘the door is always open’ policy and was a finalist at the Pet Plan Veterinary Awards.

With a genuine emphasis on flexibility and wellbeing, the practice is closed on Sundays, only working Saturday mornings; they have time blocked off to give you time to catch up with your notes and calls, they have slots saved for the day, to give the best treatment to all emergencies of the day, and, to top it all up, they close at 6PM.
