Job Description

The Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team at their practice located in Essex.

You will become part of an exceptional on-site team, which includes a qualified and experienced RVN Practice Manager, a Head Nurse, two other skilled nurses, a student nurse, and a VCA. They are supported by a team of four friendly and attentive receptionists, with most days having two or three on-site vets.

The team’s diverse interests encompass various areas, including soft tissue surgery, rabbit and exotic small mammal medicine, offering room for growth and development.

Despite being a small practice, they are bustling with activity and provide ample free on-site parking. Their purpose-built facility is equipped with state-of-the-art tools, including digital X-ray and ultrasound, in-house lab facilities. They are continuously exploring opportunities for improvement in their practice and facilities and actively encourage input from all staff.

This is a full-time position, involving 40 hours of work each week spread across 4 or 5 weekdays and 1 in 4 weekends.

The ideal candidate will exhibit a hands-on approach, utilizing their skill sets to ensure patients and clients receive excellent care. They should also be hardworking and an excellent team player, as in a small practice, teamwork is essential.
