Our client is looking for a clinical nursing manager to join their team.
It is a purpose-built small animal hospital that provides excellent animal care. Every year they aim higher and acquire new skills and new equipment to continue to provide the best care possible.
As a clinical nursing manager, an average week will consist of approximately 4 clinical days and 1 admin day. A key part of the role is to ensure that the nursing team across the business is managed as effectively as possible to support the growth of the practice.
You’ll work closely with the Lead Nurses to identify areas of development needs within the nursing team to maintain a happy, efficient working environment, whilst ensuring practice policies and group policies are always adhered to.
The successful candidate will work alongside their team of Vets, RVNs, SVNs, a PCA and a Client Care team in a beautiful clinic with a strong client base. It’s very important to demonstrate knowledge of the RCVS Day One Skills and Competencies, Code of Professional Conduct for Veterinary Nurses (on-the-job, in structured practical sessions and/or in tutorials) that is evidenced on the rota to receive appropriate support from a Clinical Supervisor.
