Job Description

The Role

Our client is looking for a Night RVN to join their nursing team at their clinic.

The practice has a fantastic location which provides a loyal and wonderful client base. They have all of the usual equipment that you would expect to see, this ensures that their veterinary professionals can deliver outstanding care to all of their patients.

Their nurses are highly valued and work closely with the clinicians having input into the nursing care of all patients. The team consists of 1 Vet and 1 RVN, and you are supported by a Client Care Assistant on site until 8 p.m. In addition, there is always an on-call nurse to provide assistance overnight, if needed.

They are able to utilise their skills in a variety of settings from managing in-patients, conducting nurse-led clinics, undertaking Schedule 3 procedures, monitoring anaesthesia, assisting with surgeries and carrying out all associated peri-operative care.

They have a highly stimulating and rewarding caseload and duties that include both caring for their inpatients as well as assisting with emergencies. This is, therefore, a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RVN wishing to develop their Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) skills and interests.

This is a full-time role working 30 hours per week on average (4 nights on and 8 nights off, including weekdays, weekends and a share of the bank holiday rota).
