Our client is looking for a team leader for the Anaesthesia RVN team.
The Anaesthesia Nurse Team Leader will be responsible for the efficient and effective leadership of the Anaesthesia Nursing team.
You will work closely and collaboratively with the Head of Nursing Services (HONS), Head of Anaesthesia, other Team Leaders and Leads across the Practice to ensure the efficient delivery of outstanding patient care.
The position will include providing performance reviews, and co-ordination for all relevant associates working within your team, along with support and training to those within and outside of your team.
You will work enthusiastically with the nursing team to help maintain a happy and efficient working environment, whilst ensuring practice and group policies are always adhered to. This role requires strong, inclusive, decisive leadership, clear communication and the ability to inspire and motivate the team in order to deliver and achieve the practice’s goals.
You must have proven theoretical and practical anaesthesia knowledge and skills and enjoy teaching others, along with leadership qualities and a strong work ethic with the ability to manage your own time. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be an integral part of the anaesthesia team.
Previous experience of anaesthesia-focused referral nursing or with a large hospital is essential for this role.
This is a full-time role working 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday generally between 8:30 am – 6:30 pm, participation in the weeknight, weekend and bank holiday rota is required, currently an average of 1 in 6.
