Job Description

The Role

Our client is looking for a Lead Educational Nurse to join their busy hospital.

At the hospital, they have a friendly, hardworking team that strives to provide their clients and their pets with the highest standard of care.

The main purpose of this role is to ensure they continue to instil and achieve gold-standard care by overseeing and guiding the teaching of their pre-registration nursing team (SVNs and PCAs).

The successful candidate would also work with their RVNs, identifying learning gaps and assisting them to achieve their goals. They are looking for someone passionate about helping teach others and leading a team. Working in a large clinical team, your shifts will be wide-ranging between wards, theatres, clinics, and lead nurses.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of one year experience behind them and will be looking to develop their skill set in leadership and education. Ideally, they would have experience as a clinical coach or supervisor would be desired, however, they can assist in training with this if needed.

We understand you will need more information about this role as we have only provided a “Snapshot” of the position so please do reach out to Evie Godwin.
