Job Description

The Role

Our client is looking for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team at their small animal practice.

The fantastic team of nurses deliver the most accessible, comprehensive, high-quality veterinary care possible. They offer a full range of veterinary services and facilities, treating every patient as if they were members of their own family.

Head Veterinary Nurses are responsible for supporting the Veterinary Surgeons by guiding a team of Registered Veterinary Nurses and/or Veterinary Care Assistants and delivering exceptional care within the practice.

Work closely with the Lead Vet as well as our wider teams to ensure the general smooth running of your practice, from Practice Standards to Health and safety, and ensure things such as debt are managed and controlled and any complaints are dealt with appropriately.

As a Head Nurse and Clinical Coach, you will develop and support your direct reports, holding one to one and providing regular feedback on their performance, as well as taking action to create a positive environment that results in stable retention for your branch.

If you are up for a challenge and think this role may be for you, please get in touch with Evie Godwin and she would be more than happy to help.
