Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned hospital and operates as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC). They are seeking Veterinary Surgeons with a passion for Emergency and Critical Care to join the night team at their brand-new 24/7 veterinary hospital in Warrington. The hospital has been purpose-built to provide accessible, affordable, high-quality veterinary care across first opinion, referral and out-of-hours services. Through transparent pricing and affordable out-of-hours consultations, the hospital is committed to ensuring more pets receive the treatment they need while offering an exciting and varied emergency caseload.
Working Hours / Rota
The practice is open to discussing both full-time and part-time positions to suit individual candidates. The advertised full-time equivalent salary is based on a 40-hour working week. Night shifts run from 6:30pm to 7:30am, with the night team fully supported by the daytime first opinion and referral services to ensure excellent continuity of patient care.
Role Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys the fast-paced nature of Emergency and Critical Care. Working as part of the dedicated night team, the successful candidate will manage a varied emergency caseload while providing outstanding overnight care for hospitalised patients.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of emergency medical and surgical cases while working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Supported by the daytime clinical teams, the successful candidate will benefit from excellent continuity of care and ongoing opportunities to develop technical skills within a modern hospital environment.
Team Size
The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses and support staff across both the day and night services to deliver exceptional patient care.
