Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is a corporately owned 24-hour hospital seeking a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated out-of-hours team in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a vet with a passion for emergency and critical care to join a well-equipped hospital environment offering hands-on ECC exposure and strong clinical support.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a permanent part-time night role working a 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota.
This pattern provides an excellent work-life balance with extended time off between shifts.
The pro-rated salary for this rota is up to £52,000 per year.
Role Description
You will deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to patients during out-of-hours periods, managing a varied and often complex caseload.
The role includes emergency consultations, inpatient care, surgical procedures where required, and clear communication with clients during high-pressure situations.
You will prepare tailored treatment plans, ensure continuity of care and maintain the highest standards of clinical governance and compliance.
There is also the opportunity to pursue an ECC certificate, making this an excellent role for a vet looking to develop further within emergency medicine.

The 24-hour hospital is well-equipped to support a busy emergency caseload and provides a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Located in Leamington Spa, the practice benefits from a picturesque spa-town setting with Regency architecture, riverside walks, independent shops and cafés. The town offers excellent transport links to Warwick, Coventry and Birmingham, as well as easy access to surrounding countryside.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon with a strong interest in emergency and critical care.
You will thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting, demonstrate confident clinical decision-making and maintain excellent communication with clients and colleagues.
