Job Description

About The Role
Our client is looking for a Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their busy first-opinion GP surgery.

This is a traditional converted house with two really large consult rooms and a large waiting area, a prep area with dog kennels and a separate cat ward. They have two theatres and they are ISFM Silver Accredited Cat Friendly.

The Team
This is a 3 Vet clinic with a really strong team and a customer service manager who oversees all 3 practices in the region. They have 8 Receptionists that work between the 3 sites, an HRVN, 2 RVNs, an SVN about to qualify, 3 SVNs, and a couple of VCAs too! As well as this they have two Senior Vet – a Surgery Certificate Holder and a Vet who loves all lives Medicine & Dermatology!

The Rota
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, although they are open to being flexible on the schedule.

They see a really good caseload here, a big surgical caseload with orthopaedic cases and a great Medicine caseload too. They are a busy clinic and see a good variety of cases including ECC. They have some fantastic equipment and are always evolving!

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate to join this bustling practice is a very capable nurse, who is organised and has previous experience in management, however, this is not essential. They would also ideally enjoy clinical coaching and supporting students.
