Job Description

About The Role
Our client is looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join their professional and personable team in the practice.

Duties
You’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listening and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always. As well as your day-to-day duties within practice caring for your patients and clients, you will have the drive and ambition to develop the practice optimising the client and patient experience, promoting safety while training, developing and leading the entire nursing team.

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will be proactive in maintaining their own professional and clinical skills. They will also have a good knowledge of how a practice runs efficiently and effectively. You will share their values of being trustworthy, caring and progressive. With animal welfare at your heart, you will be caring and thoughtful as well as have excellent communication skills.

Ideal Candidate
The role will involve all aspects of Nursing as well as leading the nursing team. It would suit a confident RVN who is ready to take the next step into a Head Nurse position or who has previous Head Nurse experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of qualified experience. Clinical coaching experience or at least enthusiasm to become a Clinical Coach is essential.

Training
You will be fully supported as they are also able to offer management training. You’ll have a friendly and positive attitude and want to progress and expand your knowledge and skills further. Strong mentorship and support will be available to help you develop your career and get the most satisfaction from your job.
