Job Description
Introduction
Our Client’s practice in Great Sankey, Warrington is seeking a part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly, forward-thinking team. Based in the heart of Cheshire with excellent access to Liverpool and Manchester, the practice is modern, welcoming, and embedded in a loyal and growing local community.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time position working 2 days per week, from 8:30am to 6:30pm. The role offers an excellent balance between clinical responsibility and lifestyle flexibility with no additional weekend or on-call commitments listed.
Role Description
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will lead on nurse-led appointments and provide high-quality clinical support across consultations, surgeries, and procedures. The role includes responsibility for patient care, medication dispensing, admissions and discharges, and maintaining clinical standards. You will also take on leadership responsibilities within the nursing team, inspiring and mentoring others while driving best practice across the clinic.
Team Size
You will join a skilled team of RVNs and support staff in a busy but well-structured clinic environment. The team culture is collaborative and client-focused, with a strong emphasis on growth and development.
Practice Details
The practice features a spacious and modern layout with dedicated surgical and consulting facilities. It is well-positioned with strong transport links, on-site parking, and a long-standing, loyal client base. The clinic is a key part of the local community and continues to grow in reach and reputation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with strong clinical and leadership skills. You should be confident in nurse-led consultations, Schedule 3 procedures, and pre- and post-operative patient care. Strong communication, mentoring experience, and a passion for delivering excellent client service are essential to succeed in this role.
