Job Description

Introduction
Our Client’s practice is a recently refurbished first-opinion clinic in Yeading, Greater London, offering a modern, spacious, and well-equipped working environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Vet Surgeon seeking a part-time role with autonomy, variety, and strong clinical support from a wider hospital network.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a part-time position working up to 30 hours per week. The rota includes 1 in 6 weekends. The role involves sole charge; however, strong support is available from nearby practices and a dedicated emergency hospital that provides all out-of-hours care.

Role Description
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care through consultations and procedures, supported by an experienced nursing and client care team. The role offers a varied caseload with interesting medical and surgical cases, including a high feline workload. You will play a key role in mentoring colleagues, shaping clinical standards, and contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the practice.

Team Size
You will work alongside a Head Nurse and a dedicated patient and client care team, all of whom are passionate about teamwork, high standards, and supporting one another in a positive working environment.

Practice Details
The practice has been refurbished to a high standard and offers an excellent clinical layout, including multiple consult rooms, a dedicated imaging space, a large prep area, and a modern theatre. Out-of-hours care is fully supported by a nearby emergency hospital with advanced diagnostic capabilities. The practice also works closely with neighbouring clinics, ensuring additional support is always available when needed.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon who is confident working in a sole charge environment and passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care. You will demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills, enjoy supporting and developing colleagues, and be keen to contribute to a progressive and collaborative clinical culture.
