Job Description
Introduction
Our Client is an independently owned practice seeking Registered Veterinary Nurses to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking veterinary group transforming the industry by combining modern, purpose-built clinics with first-class patient care and innovative technology.
Rota Details
The role is full-time with a structured rota, including participation in the nurse consult service and surgical support. Flexibility is encouraged, and the successful candidate may occasionally cover shifts at other sites as required.
Information About the Practice
The clinic will operate with a collaborative team of Vets, RVNs, and support staff. Description of the Role
The RVN will carry out a wide range of clinical duties including nurse consultations, screening procedures, sample collection, GA monitoring, surgical support, and administering treatments. They will maintain accurate clinical records, ensure cleanliness and hygiene of clinical areas, monitor stock levels, and provide guidance to clients on both routine and specialised care. The role involves implementing and adhering to clinical protocols, contributing to high standards of patient care, and supporting veterinarians during both invasive and non-invasive procedures.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified RVN with demonstrable experience, including nurse consulting and GA monitoring. They will have excellent surgical etiquette and knowledge of quarantining procedures, be confident using PMS systems, and demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach are essential.
